Beaver Crest Drive

This kitchen renovation and home addition in Des Moines’ historic Beaverdale neighborhood gave the homeowners an updated kitchen and more room to gather with their growing family.

Inside the brick home, we replaced the kitchen cabinets, countertops, and sink to refresh the space while maintaining its existing layout. The addition created more room for family gatherings as the homeowners welcomed a growing group of grandchildren.

A new deck extended the gathering space outdoors, with a pergola providing shade from the southern sun. Connecting the addition to the older home required careful planning and coordination to work through challenges at the existing foundation and structure.

Together, the kitchen updates, addition, and outdoor living space helped the homeowners make more room for family while preserving the character of their Beaverdale home.
