Building a home is a big decision and can be overwhelming. We provide the care necessary to walk you through the project, start to finish.
Discovery
We enjoy building, and we also love hearing the excitement pour out of homeowner’s when they begin to describe their future home! We’ll work together to learn about your vision, offer guidance and answer any questions. Our goal in this phase is to determine how best to proceed with your exciting home build.
The Lot
An essential part of building a home is having some land to put it on! We’ll work closely with your real estate team to find a lot that fits the needs of your home described in the Discovery phase. If you already have a lot, we can start making your vision come to life!
The Vision
This is where we put pen to paper and develop the plans for your home, if they don’t already exist. The design team will draft floorplans for review, followed by exterior details and ending with a final construction set.
Pricing & Contract
After the plans are complete, Paradigm will provide comprehensive pricing for review prior to construction start. Don’t fret about having all of the materials picked out in this phase; budget appropriate allowances will be provided for these items which can be timely selected during the construction process. Pricing and contract terms will be negotiated and then the hammers start swinging!
Construction
Let the sawdust fly! A complete project schedule will be provided prior to construction start noting milestone dates and critical material selection dates. We enjoy providing guided site tours and explanations for you along the way. Our team will bring the project from the ground all the way to a final clean prior to closing. Your home will be cleaned and ready for you to enjoy the day you move in!
Remodels, Additions, Upgrades
Building a home is a big decision and can be overwhelming. We provide the care necessary to walk you through the project, start to finish.
Initial Visit
During our on-site meeting, we will work to gather as much information on the requirements and desires for the project. We will take the time to determine the feasibility of certain aspects of your project and answer any preliminary questions. You’ll see us taking measurements, snapping photos and drawing a few sketches; all of which will aid in developing our detailed proposal.
Proposal
Our detailed proposal will outline the specifics discussed at the initial visit as well as other significant information. Budget appropriate allowances will be established for details not yet finalized and a final proposal price will be listed. We strongly encourage our clients to review this document in detail and to be comfortable reaching out to clarify any details they may need additional information on.
Fine-Tuning
After a preliminary agreement on the proposal, we will discuss any open items and work to finalize all necessary project details and allowance amounts to establish a final contract price. A final agreement will be executed upon finalization of relevant details.
Product Selections
Once an agreement is executed, we can begin selecting the products and materials that will bring life to the project. We will work with our vendors and/or designers to select finish materials that are within the budgeted allowance amounts noted within the agreement. Many homeowners prefer to make selections on their own, with guidance from Paradigm and our vendors. We can refer clients to local designers if you’d prefer to work with the professionals!
Construction
Often, projects will start without all the materials and products selected. Allowances would have been established for these items and we will provide a schedule detailing critical material ordering dates to avoid delays. The schedule will also detail critical construction milestone dates for the project. During construction, you can expect regular updates, clean work areas and a respectful nature with which we operate. It is your home, and we are your guests. We encourage our clients to reach out any time there is a concern….we will respond to relative issues brought to our attention without hesitation.
